I'm into core training right now and couldn't resist trying the BOSU even though it seemed on the expensive side. However when it arrived, I was very impressed-this is a heavy duty serious piece of kit. Full and helpful instructions together with a training video to get you started and you very soon find out that such a simple concept can really stretch you. I'm a heavy guy but the BOSU never complains and it really is fun!

Spent a bit of time looking around at these and not wanting to spend a small fortune opted for this one, what a great decision.
Very user friendly, and the build quality is very good and is quite light also.It has great allround viewing for the child, pops up & collapses in seconds with everything "quickrelease".
I would not personally take this on the busy roads for obvious reasons,and it does state child must be 18months at least to use this which it doesnt mention in the write up.

The only complaint i had was it is advertised with 20" wheels, but they do only come with the 16" wheels.

If i had one recommendation to improve this item, it would be the addition of a heavy duty zip to fasten down the door on the front, as they are a bit flappy making passenger exposed to the elements.

All round great buy, thoroughly recommended, it sells in my local large cycle store now for £170, a snip at £109

if you are looking for a trailer and dont want to spend 600 on an aluminium chariot one with suspension then this is the next best child trailer on the market regardless of price

I recently dumped the car for a change of lifestyle

used for a couple of long trips now,
I dont know how they can make and sell this for a one-er and still make a profit, it is of surpising quality. and although I was looking at the charriot range Im glad I plumped for this. Its light enough , cant see any real reason to go for the expensive aluminium ones if you are going to be on flats most of thie time as you wont feel the weight anyway

personally I wouldnt take these things on busy roads, I did try but felt I was exposing my child to too much danger especially when busses or lorries where near.

luckily there are a fair few cycle paths on the main roads around where I live and with a bit of planning and exploration its possible to make safe journeys.

child loves it,

to note though

the attachment to the bike realy requires a compleatly flat back tail flange to be properly seated,

also probably good to change your quick release rear wheel for a traditional nut and bolt one.

doesent say anything about these things in the manual

if the roadds/paths near you are rough then go for the charriot with suspension.

I have been looking at baby trailers in the shops since my son was born 18months ago with the intention of finding a nice one to get for when he was old enough. I was not very impressed with the ones I saw as they seemed either very overpriced ( £400 plus ) or reasonably priced but not very well made. By this I mean solid enough but not very good looking or well designed, a bit basic. When the time came to buy I looked onto the net and found this one. It was very reasonably priced and looked a bit better than the ones I had seen before. I decided on a trailer because I found that in a German study, trailers were found to be safer than child seats when involved in accidents.
I have to say that now I have it I am VERY pleased with my purchase. The trailer is sturdy, very well made and has most of the features found on the more expensive versions. It folds up easily and has quick release wheels so can be easily placed into a car or the back of a cupboard. The tow bar can fold underneath, the push bar fold out and a third wheel clicks into a hole on the bumper to convert into a push chair. The child seat is thick nylon stretched between the frame but is not part of the floor as on some other makes. It is fully adjustable with a good 5 point padded harness to hold the child. There are a number of pockets and bottle holders built in with a large `boot' on the back for child and picnic stuff. The coupling to the bike is via a thick cylindrical rubber block surrounded by a heavy duty closed metal spring. I had a good look and test of this and, though it looks worrying, it is actually quite solid. There is also a secondary nylon strap for extra safety as on most bike trailers. When disconnected from the bike it leaves a small steel post attached to the rear axle of the bike. It takes seconds to connect and disconnect.
In use, my son is quite happy in it. It is light rain proof though I would not want to ride through a downpour with him in the back. The recommended 25psi inflated tyres and the nylon seat provide some degree of suspension to smooth the ride though you would want to take it very slow down kerbs and such. The extra weight of my son at 12kg and the trailer at around 13kg is not very noticeable on the flat but you really feel it up hills.
The only downside that I have found is that the instructions seem to be for an earlier model and so I spent some time looking for two clips that just aren't there on this model. When in use I have found that every group of teenagers I pass I get at least one shout of "Cool" or "Wicked" and many adults ask about it.
I highly recommend this trailer.

1 Year later...
It's a year since I wrote the review above and the trailer is still going strong. It has done around 100 miles mostly through woodland path and nothing has broken, ripped, failed or shows signs of wear. It takes 2 mins to pop the wheels off, fold up and put in the back of the car and the same time to re-assemble. It has been through two accidents, one where I skidded on some lose gravel and came off at slow speed. The trailer happily sat upright while my bike and I fell. My son did not even wake up though I dread to think what would have happened if he were in a child seat on the back of the bike. The second accident was when I, through stupidity and forgetting I had the trailer, badly misjudged turning into a 1.5 foot high footbridge on a dirt bend and the trailer fell slowly off the bridge onto it's side in the dirt and suffered no damage other than a slight scuff. My son inside was held safe by the harness and was no more than a bit suprised though I had a slight panic not to be pulled over into the ditch alongside him.

I still very much recommend this trailer.

Some time much later...
It's now Feb 2011 and three years since I got this trailer. I guess it's done around 300-350 miles mostly through Windsor Great Park on dirt paths and tarmac walkways and it's still going strong. Nothing has broken or worn. A few scuffs on the metal bumper where I have bumped it against poles, gates, etc.( Only a couple of times, honest....) I still think I made a very good choice in buying it.
Please note, though I got an extra mounting bracket for the wife's bike for about £10 she has only managed to pull it 2 miles in 3 years so you may want to save yourself that cost.
At the end of this summer my son will be too big for it and I'll probably sell it. I'll be sorry to see it go as I have lots of fond memories of summer days out in the park with the family.

I see that the design of this trailer has changed very slightly since I got mine and some people have mentioned that the wheel can rub on the frame but the review by Beencan gives a quick and simple fix for this by swapping a nut over. Have a look at his review for details.

Got this in a medium because the small size was £40 more. I am a 36-38 chest and the fit is decent, the small would probably fit perfectly, but I wasn't willing to pay more.

I use this with a single base layer for days when temperatures are above 5 degrees C and it's perfect for my 6 mile commute to work (one way, but it has been fine for longer journeys too). I need an additional layer for days where temperatures are below 5 degrees C, or will drop further. There are some reflective stripes which are a handy detail too. The rear pocket could be a bit more easily accessible. Perhaps use a larger zip for it? That is the reason for 4 stars. If they could make the rear pocket more accessible then I'd give it 5 stars.

Pearl Izumi make some great stuff. I've got a pair of their gloves that I use year round, and they've held up for nearly four years now. The jacket quality seems great, and I reckon this one too will hold up quite well. I'd not be happy if this jacket didn't last me at least as long!

A chance, after several sub 10c days to review this jacket. I've had earlier versions of Pearl jackets which have been fine, but this latest series is a real winner once the temperatures fall and the wind chill rises. The Elite Softshell is a high quality, breathable, wind and water resistant jacket. I have a medium size, and it's a 'true' medium, i.e. fits a 38-40" chest and is snug but not overtight, so no flapping material. I have found the jacket to be comfortable with just a base layer at temperatures of less than 10c and with wind chill, although how 'warm' you ride will determine whether you require a thin/thick midlayer too. So far, anything more than a base layer would have me overheating. The large, zipped rear pocket also has three internal sections, as well as the larger compartment, meaning wallet' phone and mulitool each get a seperate compartment and a rain jacket/gillet for super chilled/very wet days still fits comfortably in the outer compartment. The jacket is wind resistant, e.g. today's gusts were over 20mph and they didn't touch the jacket's comfort, i.e. warmth was not ripped away from my body. There is a really handy zipped chest pocket which takes a Blackberry sized 'phone with no problem and still has space for a gel or Powerbar. There is reflective material on both sleeves, which have an overlong cut ensuring they do not ride-up at all. Overall, I rate this jacket highly, and whilst not of Assos quality, you can get almost as good here for about a half to a third of the price of an Assos equivalent. I'd recommend this jacket.

WELL THE FIRST TIME UP TAKES A BIT OF GETTING IT THERE BUT THINGS CAN ONLY GET BETTER. THE ROOM IS FANTASTIC AND IT LOOKS LIKE IT WILL STAND THE TIME OK. THE INNER GROUND SHEET IS VERY GOOD AND NO RUFFLES TO TRIP UP ON, THE PORCH IS HUGE AND WILL TAKE CARE OF YOUR GEAR WITH EASE.
ALSO THE DEL ONLY TOOK 2 DAYS WHICH IS FANTASTIC SERVICE .

I've had this Bivvy for 6 months now and I would highly recommend it. I was a bit dubious about the quick set up time quoted but after a trial run I had it sussed out and up in no time. Folds away easily and fits nicely back into the bag every time.

Loads of room inside and the porch has plenty of space for storing all your gear. Buy 4 large Screw Pegs and these secure the 4 corners into the ground (standard pegs supplied). All in all it's been a great buy.

After putting the bivvy up after 3 attempts, on separate occasions, the task is now far easier and quicker. This bivvy has stacks of room for more than 2 people and I would recommend it to anybody that wants to invest in a bivvy.
It was tested in the elements with no problems whatsoever.
